For Valentine’s Day, Ryan made me a really sweet card (that he cut and glued together himself!!!) and bought me a handful of awesome dance-worthy 7” records. 

He is amazing. 

Ryan always finds vinyl for me on the street. A couple of months ago, he found some beautiful transparent red records of what sounds like strange Chinese story-telling music.

The other day he found this square record with an awesome Beavis and Butthead-esque illustration on one side. On the other side it says “Revenge of the Terds”. We finally listened to it last night and it turns out that it’s all these really silly electro remixes of songs from the Revenge of the Nerds soundtrack.

My favorite weirdo find of his yet.

Finally replaced this record after my original had mysteriously disappeared several years ago. Still have the sleeve for it, but the record is nowhere to be found!

So happy to have this again. And on pretty transparent blue vinyl!

Picked this up at an awesome record store called Thirsty Moon when I was visiting back home in San Diego. I would have bought like fifteen other records if I had the moneys. It’s such a cozy, well-curated shop. Definitely go if you live in or ever visit San Diego.

San Diego was nice, but damn- it’s so good to be back in San Francisco. If you need me, I’ll be in my bed all day eating Thai food.

My favorite Christmas gift from my favorite man. He obviously knows me well.

Today I’m trying to lay low at my uncle’s house until the rest of the Filipino family comes over and talks my ears off about how long it’s been since the last time they saw me.

I finally got the new Godspeed You! Black Emperor album in the mail today!

I also walked over to the local Amoeba to pick up the new Pinback album. They didn’t have  another album I was looking for, so I picked up the new Fiona Apple instead.

Went on a bit of a shopping spree today in the Castro. Might have gone a little overboard buying vinyl but fuck it! I’m turning 25 this week! The clerk was nice enough to give me a discount for it all for my life anniversary.
