For St. Patrick’s day my lovely friends and fantastic artists Kelly Tunstall and Ferris Plock invited Ryan and I over for an evening of drinks and an authentic Irish meal. Kelly totally outdid herself. Corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, delicious veggies, and Irish brown bread. It was all so so good. Ryan and I both wanted to eat more of the corned beef, but didn’t want to look like total pigs in front of everyone else. Though I’m sure everyone else at the table was thinking the same thing. Of course we had endless pints of Guinness and shots of Jameson to wash it all down with.

For dessert, I made a super rich Guinness chocolate pie with a pretzel graham cracker crust (that just wanted to crumble everywhere). That weird radioactive looking stuff is the Guinness whipped cream I made with neon green food coloring. I’m so happy I made a second pie for my roommates at home, because that one lasted about 5 minutes on the table. I was stoked it was a hit. Guess who had a slice of Guinness pie for breakfast this morning…
